El Rubio is one of the middle brothers and the third brother to join the family business.
Although newer to the team he also inherited a legacy of land stewardship from Cabito and I see the way he walks in his footsteps more and more each day.

"The Middle Child"
Rubio has lived quite a few years away from home leaving his family as many often have to, to find better employment opportunities elsewhere and it’s a sacrifice he made not only for himself but for his family. Él Rubio has always been one of the first and last to help out when needed, I'm sure, even if it means pausing some of his own goals or plans as a result.
We saw him rarely while he lived in the Capital, and we hoped for the day our farm would be big enough; not for the few of us to split more but for us to have enough for us to split what we could amongst more of us or at least “one more” and we hoped that would be enough someday for Rubio to join us.
In 2023 that dream became a reality and not because we grew enough to pay him more than he made in the capital but because for Rubio what we had grown to be, and the potential he believed we had TOGETHER was MORE than enough for him to take a risk and come back home to work alongside his brothers. .
To me it speaks to his character: someone willing to leave home to better support his family, and when we needed him, equally willing to come home to better support his family; and at the end, it isn’t money, but rather family that seems to always be his biggest motivator.

He recently sent a quote to our family chat about brotherhood:
“if one of us fights we all fight, and when we triumph we will triumph together”
We are in this together, we believe in each other enough to take a risk on each other and El Rubio inspires us to continue to do just that; and we are stronger with him home, and on our team.
El Rubio leads by way of quiet inspiration and unwavering faith he reminds us of the faith we have in each other and what we are capable of when we fight together.
